As you travel into Wendell on US 64 Business you know you have arrived in downtown when you see the stately church on the corner facing a small business that has been serving the community since 1949. Main Street also boasts one of the few remaining downtown car dealerships in the state and a retail store for one of the largest manufacturers of collegiate clothing in the United States. A downtown clothing boutique has drawn visitors from around the Triangle and beyond to downtown Wendell for almost 100 years.
